Meritics is a UK distributor for the ViewSizer 3000, designed to visualise and determine the size distribution of a wide range of nanoparticle sizes, even when coexisting in the same liquid.
Exosomes, viruses, and nanoparticles have wide size distributions which can defeat traditional Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis (NTA) analysers. The ViewSizer 3000 features simultaneous measurement with three lasers to collect the most accurate distribution and concentration information over a wide range of sizes within the same sample.
Where the signal from a particle is too bright and saturates the detector from one laser, the software automatically uses data from a lower power laser to ensure the most accurate size and concentration information. Conversely, when scattering from one laser is too weak for detection, the software uses data from a higher power laser to accurately track the particle.
The instrument has a measurement range of 5 x 106 to 2 x 108 particles/mL, using a patented method to correct for the effect of particle size on effective measurement volume. It also features include easy-to-remove sample cells which can be disassembled for rapid, thorough cleaning and less contamination.
