Astell Scientific, the UK’s leading manufacturer and supplier of medical and research laboratory autoclaves and sterilisers, steam generators and effluent decontamination systems, have produced a convenient and informative set of new video tutorials available through a new section of their website.
The first selection of seventeen video tutorials deals with Astell ’s colour touchscreen controller. This is now fitted as standard across their entire product range and it has been developed for the precision control of all their autoclaves and sterilisers.
Measuring 5.7 inches, the wipe clean touchscreen features a simple icon driven menu system, which is combined with analogue and digital input/output modules and an archive for storing data on up to 5,000 previously run cycles.
The videos explain common functions and setting adjustments, from ‘how to copy a sterilisation cycle on Astell autoclave controller’, to ‘how to find the machine serial number’, making it easy for Astell customers to get the most from their equipment.
Each of the short clips provides a ‘walk-through’ of steps to demonstrate the required action e.g. changing a password, adding or removing a user profile, editing a cycle or changing time, date or language.
This is only the start of Astell video support as they are planning a whole series of tutorials to include product and case study overviews, autoclave maintenance guidance, as well as any touchscreen controller updates.
