Edinburgh Instruments launches its DS5 Dual Beam UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, which will be manufactured at the company’s European headquarters, manufacturing base and research and development centre in Scotland.
Suitable for analytical applications where accuracy and precision measurements are key, the instrument features a dual lamp and Czerny-Turner configuration monochromator for impressive spectral performance. Additional benefits include stray light, baseline flatness, wavelength and photometric accuracy and reproducibility.
With a compact footprint, it maximises available bench space in the laboratory and provides a modern user-friendly and accurate spectrophotometer for a wide range of sample types and measurements.
Allan Mackenzie, Product Manager said: “The DS5 was introduced to fill the gap for those looking for a high quality, robust and modern UV-Vis spectrophotometer. Manufactured with pride in the UK with our team of in-house engineers and spectroscopy experts, the DS5 sets a new standard for benchtop UV-Vis measurements.”
