TESTA Analytical has launched a PC App further simplify use of its Solvent Line Monitor device.
The intuitive PC App allows easy configuration of the device, enabling users to set the required sensitivity level for monitoring for undissolved gas bubbles that can affect the accuracy of a reagent dispensing pump.
A common solution to the presence of dissolved gases in reagent dispensing pumps is to install a vacuum degasser on the inlet side. However, undissolved gas bubbles can still pass through, leading to unreliability in dispensing volumes.
Another option is to use the Solvent Line Monitor to detect undissolved gas bubbles in real-time. When installed, the digital output from the device can be used to stop the dispensing pump before it can negatively affect dispensing accuracy – improving product quality and yield.
The Solvent Line Monitor can also be used to safeguard HPLC systems from problems caused by undissolved gas bubbles or a pump solvent reservoir running dry.
