Restek already provide high-quality reliable reference standards: now they’ve made your Restek reference standards experience even better.
They’ve overhauled packaging, labelling, and certificates of analysis to help you improve your laboratory’s safety and productivity whilst continuing to comply with regulations.
The first thing you will notice when you receive your first updated Restek reference standard is that the ampul storage tubes are much smaller. This new, round design perfectly fits a Restek ampul (and the included deactivated vial) to:
- help prevent breaking
- save you space
- reduce your environmental footprint as they use less plastic.
You also now have personalised, instant access to your documentation via the ampul storage tube label —simply scan the QR code to directly access the certificate of analysis for your specific standard and lot # on Restek.com. You can view, download, or print your documentation any time, from anywhere!
You’ll notice that there’s now larger pictograms on the GHS-compliant labels to better promote safety in your lab and continue to help you meet OSHA, CLP, and other government requirements, whilst the new two-part ampul label makes identification and documentation easier.
Restek have worked closely with their independent ISO accreditation body representatives to streamline and improve your documentation: after conducting extensive, real-time travel studies on their standards to enhance accuracy, certificates now show a single ‘total expanded uncertainty’ value to help avoid confusion and bolster confidence in your reporting.
Finally, you’ll find that all three levels of documentation available for custom Restek reference standards are clearly and accurately marked as a different type of ‘certificate of analysis’ with updated definitions to clarify the differences.
