TESTA Analytical’s GPC/SEC system is being used by one of its German customers to monitor the specifications of incoming raw materials.
Due to variability of raw material quality, the customer had found that a percentage of its final product (aminoplastic resins) were being discarded for not fulfilling the expected specifications. Working with TESTA Analytical has enabled the establishment of strict QC routines on incoming materials using the GPC/SEC system.
Employing just a single refractive index detector, the GPC/SEC system has proven exceptionally reliable, running continuously with very little downtime. Improved quality and consistency of the final product, with significantly reduced waste, meant that investment in the GPC/SEC system paid off very quickly. Operating from room temperature up to 80°C, with high thermal stability, the Testa Analytical Differential Refractive Index (DRI) detector offers accurate and reliable determination of absolute concentration and total mass balance in GPC/SEC applications.
