Protect production of industry’s key molecules, EU warned

Eight member states have issued a joint demand to ensure continued production within the European Union of a list of ‘building block’ molecules essential for industrial production.
France, Italy, The Netherlands, Spain, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia and Hungary are also demanding a critical chemicals act “dedicated to the preservation and transition of the industrial chemical sector and its competitiveness”.
