Representatives of 15 organisations from around the world attended the recent Genevac annual global distributors meeting in Fussen (Germany).
A comprehensive programme of technical presentations and practical training sessions on the company's EZ-2 system, a new HCl-resistant version of the HT-4 evaporator and innovative fast lyophilisation methodology drew participants from China, Japan, Korea, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Sweden and Hungary as well as from Genevac's sales offices in the USA, France, Germany and Singapore.
Reflecting upon the meeting Ian Whitehall (sales director) commented: "A key focus of the meeting was for Genevac to transfer its technological expertise to our representatives.
"Our program of innovative new product introductions coupled with the enthusiasm showed at the meeting bodes well for another good year for Genevac in 2007".
Earlier this year Genevac shipped its 2000th centrifugal evaporator.
Over the last 12 months Genevac reported that sales through distribution channels had increased by a healthy 150%.
Founded in 1990, Genevac employs around 85 people, with manufacturing, R+D and marketing headquartered in Ipswich, UK.
