Gilson announces the launch of the Gilson Safe Aspiration Station (GSAS), a new addition to the Gilson manual liquid handling product range
This stand-alone system incorporates all the essential characteristics to aspirate quickly and safely all kinds of liquids in a laboratory and collect them in a four litre polypropylene bottle.
A separate kit comprised of an aspiration-handle and a set of adaptors is also available for users seeking a simple solution to improve their comfort and productivity.
Offering fine vacuum-controlled aspiration, the GSAS allows to perform quick laboratory vessel cleaning, supernatant aspiration, and disposal of biological waste or even filtration.
Its ergonomic handle accommodates a variety of adaptors to aspirate from virtually all types of vessels and containers: microplates, microtubes, deep labware, etc.
All parts that come in contact with liquids may be repeatedly autoclaved allowing for use with hazardous and contaminating liquids.
The Gilson Safe Aspiration Station is equipped with a level detector that prevent overflow into the pump and benefits from a hydrophobic filter that provides an efficient barrier against aerosols.
Its compact design and small footprint make it ideal for use under laminar flow cabinets.
