Hach Ultra announces the release of the new Orbisphere G1100 luminescent sensor for process ppb trace level dissolved oxygen measurement
With minimum maintenance requirements, automatic self-calibration and robust performance this sensor overcomes the drawbacks many oxygen sensors have today.
The Orbisphere G1100 is perfectly adapted for power plants measuring dissolved oxygen in all-volatile treatment (AVT) or oxygenated treatment (OT) environments, says the company.
This new technology has been designed for ease of use by all operators with simple installation and maintenance.
The analyser enables operator time to be minimised through full automatic on-line calibration and service requirements limited to just five minutes every 1-2 years.
Specific features that make the Orbisphere G1100 an important addition to the range of analytic options are; the availability of manual and automatic traceable calibration modes, real time diagnostics that include the notification of due service, calibration sample replacement, calibration failure and sensor or system failure.
The dry G1100 sensor has minimal maintenance requirements due to the absence of membrane, electrolyte and chemicals.
Critical to power plant chemists is the automatic self-calibration feature leading to excellent accuracy and reliability.
Sensor maintenance is restricted to replacement of the luminescent spot only once every 18 months.
The Orbisphere G1100 not only meets the stringent requirements for OT process monitoring but also offers exceptional accuracy and reliability for plants running AVT including those working shifts with frequent contact to high oxygen containing samples.
