Flowcam now offers intensity, transparency, colour, ESD volume, ABD volume, compactness, roughness, elongation and myriad other analysis parameters for studying the particle images
The new Flowcam particle analysis instrumentation from Fluid Imaging Technologies features a soaring range of 23 different measurement parameters, a dramatic addition to the five core measurement parameters previously available.
To be unveiled at Pittcon 2007 booth 3307 on 26 February 2007 in Chicago, the patented Flowcam now offers intensity, transparency, colour, ESD volume, ABD volume, compactness, roughness, elongation and myriad other analysis parameters for studying the particle images gathered by the acclaimed instrumentation, in addition to particle length, width, aspect ratio and other traditional measurement parameters.
The imaging-based technology also provides an advanced suite of specialized parameters for analyzing and sizing spherical particles that far exceed the capabilities of any existing technology, according to the company.
Developed for laboratory and R+D managers, process engineers, quality control managers, research scientists, chemists, product development engineers and others involved in particle analysis, the high speed Flowcam automatically images every particle in a discrete fluid sample or continuously in process.
Each image is saved in full colour with its corresponding data set in a simple spreadsheet format or patented interactive scattergram for in-depth review, analysis and collaborative review by email.
