pH/conductivity stick meter combines a flat surface pH electrode with a conductivity cell to precisely measure pH, conductivity, TDS, salinity, and temperature
Extech Instruments announces the availability of its waterproof ExStik II pH/conductivity stick meter, model EC500, through its instruments division.
The EC500 is said to be the world's first stick-style meter to combine a rugged flat surface pH electrode with a highly accurate autoranging conductivity cell to precisely measure pH, conductivity, TDS, salinity, and temperature.
ExStik II pH/conductivity meter was designed and built for a wide range of applications, including process and Hvac cooling towers, industrial and commercial boilers, reverse osmosis systems, pools and spas.
The EC500 delivers seven selectable units of measure: pH, uS, mS, ppm, ppt, mg/lL, and g/l, and provides automatic temperature compensation, adjustable conductivity and TDS, with adjustable ratio from 0.4 to 1.0, and a 0.5 salinity ratio.
The unit features an analogue bar graph that indicates trends and internal memory that stores up to 25 data sets for easy recall.
The ExStik II pH/conductivity meter has a Renew feature that monitors calibration and features auto power-off and a low battery indicator.
It also comes complete with an electrode, protective sensor cap, sample cup with cap, four batteries, and neckstrap.
Optional accessories include conductivity standards packaged in convenient 0.5 litre bottles of 84, 1413 and 12,880 microsiemens.
