ASI's MS-2000 Low Mass stage retains the precision of its regular compact stage while providing increased thermal response time with only three-quarters the mass
ASI's MS-2000 Low Mass stage retains the precision of its regular compact stage while providing increased thermal response time with 3/4 the mass.
This small footprint stage measures 200x200mm and has a predominant thickness of 26mm.
The XY travel range is 100x100mm utilising crossed-roller slides, high precision leadscrews, and zero-backlash miniature geared DC servomotors for smooth and accurate motion.
Sub-micron accuracy is achieved through the use of closed-loop DC servomotors employing high-resolution rotary encoders for positioning feedback and delivering a resolution of 100nanometers and repeatability of 800nm RMS.
Optional linear encoders offer resolution down to 20nm with repeatability of 300nm RMS.
The unit can also be supplied with stepper motors.
The MS-2000 controller accepts industry standard commands, provides automatic backlash correction, and allows RS-232 and USB communication with a host computer.
Designed to fit most upright microscopes, the MS-2000 is also suitable for stand-alone and OEM applications.
