To manage the company's growing manufacturing business, Diba Industries has appointed Glenn Tanzman as vice president of operations
In this new role, Tanzman will oversee all facets of Diba's manufacturing process, from purchasing and production, to logistics.
He will help guide the strategic growth of the fluid handling components company with the implementation of training programs , quality management initiatives, value-added purchasing and Lean Manufacturing.
Tanzman brings over 30 years of experience in quality, mechanical and industrial engineering; materials and plant management; purchasing and sales to his new position.
He served most recently as managing partner of Tanzco Management Consulting (Poughkeepsie, NY), a provider of operations and supply chain consulting services.
Prior to Tanzco, he honed his lean manufacturing and industrial management skills with executive level positions at Lighting Services (Stony Point, NY), Zumtobel Staff Lighting (Highland, NY), Blumberg Excelsior (New York, NY), and Liverpool Industries (Brooklyn, NY).
To complement his professional experience, Tanzman holds an MBA in industrial management from Farleigh Dickinson University (Teaneck, NJ) and a BS in chemistry from City College of New York.
He is an SME certified manufacturing engineer and senior engineer, an ISO 9000 lead auditor and is certified in production and inventory management by the Association for Operations Management.

Diba technology includes flared tubing assemblies, lined or coated aspirate dispense probes with level sensing, in-line heaters, and custom caps for reagent and waste bottles.
