The 2260 range is designed as cost effective replacements to piezorestive accelerometers, but with higher accuracy levels, non ratiometric outputs and insensitivity to temperature variation
Inertial Aerosystems announce the availability of a new range of high performance, rugged, analogue accelerometers.
The three models in the 2260 range offer the most common supply voltages and scale factors used in the automotive and industrial markets.
These innovative products incorporate a capacitive sensing element and an advanced Asic which simulates the operation of a piezorestive bridge and can accommodate shunt calibration.
Features include performance which is insensitive to variations in excitation voltage, temperature and cable resistance.
The 3 models in the range have a temperature of -40 to +85C, and full scale acceleration from +/-5g to +/-200g.
Ideal where space and weight are at a premium, the accelerometer sensitivity is accurate to 2% (typical) and they are serialised for traceability.
Applications include crash testing, vibration monitoring and analysis, machine control and instrumentation, model analysis, robotics and flight testing.
