Nanostream says its scientists continue to pioneer assay data for a range of biological assays performed using the Nanostream LD system, an automated assay detection platform
Nanostream, a provider of products and services to increase productivity in laboratories at pharmaceutical and biotech companies, announces new assay applications for the Nanostream LD System.
By employing micro parallel liquid chromatography, the Nanostream LD System analyses and detects the conversion of a fluorescently-labelled substrate to a phosphorylated product at a rate of 10% or less for assays throughout the entire screening process - from target identification to lead optimisation.
New biological assays demonstrated include:.
Cytochrome P450 assay (label-free).
Glucokinase assay.
Glycogen synthase kinase 3a assay.
Matrix metalloproteinase 7 (MMP-7) assay.
Sphingomyelinase assay.
Substrate specificity.
Hierarchal phosphorylation.
Mode of enzyme inhibition.
Data generated from the above assays proves the Nanostream LD System's ability to reduce time for assay design and development, to detect low enzymatic conversion and to conduct experiments with a simple and fast workflow.
