Photonex07, the event showcasing every conceivable application in science for light, will be held over two days at the Stoneleigh Park conference and exhibition centre near Coventry, UK
Photonex07 takes place at Hall 2, Stoneleigh Park, Coventry, UK, on Wednesday 17 October, 10am to 5pm, and Thursday 18 October, 10am to 4pm.
The event has been held annually for many years and is widely regarded as important for scientific imaging, spectroscopy and microscopy.
In recent years there has been much innovation in photonics, reducing the cost of instruments and bringing them into more widespread use.
You might want to buy an anti-vibration table for your microscope, a multi-spectral imaging system, a positioning system with sub-nanometre precision or a replacement laser light source for your fluorescence microscope.
You may be interested in low light level imaging, high speed fluorescence imaging, Tirfm, confocal imaging or live cell multi-dimensional microscopy.
You will also be able to see live demonstrations of microscopes.
Whatever your interest is, Photonex is well worth a visit, says the organiser.
Ocean Optics participates every year and for it Photonex is the most important trade show in the UK.
It considers it an ideal venue to learn of the latest developments in spectroscopy and to demonstrate their spectroscopy instrumentation.
Nick Barnett, UK sales manager, comments: "We know that if someone wants to gather information about our products, it is only 'face-to-face' that we can truly have a dynamic discussion, and by seeing live demonstrations customers can make a real evaluation of the technologies we offer.
"That's why we enjoy attending Photonex".
Stoneleigh Park is ideally located and easy to get to, parking and entry to the exhibition are free.
