Developed to be an integral part of college science courses, the general biology experiments add to the list of human and animal physiology experiments with PowerLab LabTutor data acquisition systems
ADInstruments, a supplier of data acquisition and analysis solutions for life science researchers and educators, has announced the release of new student experiments for PowerLab LabTutor Systems.
The interactive experiments are available from the education section of the company's website.
The LabTutor general biology release 1 experiments include an introduction to spectrophotometry; biological membranes; temperature effects on enzyme performance; photosynthesis - CO2 fixation; photosynthesis - O2 production; cellular respiration; and acid-base titration.
Designed for use with the new PowerLab 15T and 26T LabTutor systems, the experiments also require a spectrophotometer with an analogue output and biochemistry transducers that are included in the ADInstruments PTK18 biochemistry kit.
Educators using PowerLab LabTutor systems can download the new experiments free of charge.
