Mettler Toledo's MCP series of calibration workstations provide ISO 8655-compliant calibration of single and multichannel pipettes in a fraction of the time required by a traditional balance
The MCP workstations can precisely calibrate volumes as low as 10ul, and each instrument is ideal for accredited calibration laboratories, for QC laboratories, and for all pipette users that want to perform a quick check before starting an experiment.
The workstations consist of from one to five automatic weighing units (MCP1 to MCP5), making them easy to adapt to suit your growing needs.
Each weighing unit consists of a balance and an automated transport system that ensures fast and consecutive weighing of up to 12 individual liquid samples dispensed by the pipette.
A 12-channel micropipette, for example, can be fully calibrated within just 14 minutes using the MCP5 workstation, compared with 2-4 hours using alternative methods, bringing impressive return on investment within days.
The compact MCP1-S is portable and comes with its own carry case, making it ideal for on-site calibration.
Mettler Toledo's pipette calibration software Calibry comes with a simple wizard for defining the pipettes, selecting the appropriate methods and providing a step-by-step guide throughout the calibration process.
Large amounts of data are easily organised and every single operation is recorded, providing full traceability that meets 21 CFR Part 11 requirements.
The Calibry software can be validated, and both a validation manual and validation service are available from Mettler Toledo.
