Enjoy direct access to over 100 manufacturers of laboratory equipment and consumables, with the opportunity to attend a one-day scientific congress in a centrally located, easily accessed UK venue
The Scientific Laboratory Show 2008 being held on 2 July 2008, at the East Midlands Conference Centre, on the campus of Nottingham University.
The organiser of the event, SLS (Scientific Laboratory Supplies) says it is aiming to 'revolutionise' the UK scientific exhibition circuit by launching their very own event in conjunction with UKSPA (United Kingdom Science Park Association), which will host a one-day scientific congress at the show.
Commenting on the launch of the show, Geoff Douglas, marketing manager of SLS, said: "We believe this new event provides the perfect opportunity for scientists and laboratory specialists to find out about new products and initiatives at a dedicated laboratory show in the UK and I'm delighted that the show is already gaining approval and momentum throughout the industry".
Leading manufacturers already confirmed as attending the event include Eppendorf, Barloworld Scientific, Miele, Whatman, Simport, Mettler, Thermo HeraFreeze, and (of course) Scientific Laboratory Supplies.
Ancillary laboratory services will also be available, such as intellectual property attorneys and funding houses.
All exhibition delegates will be provided with a complimentary lunch and refreshments through the day, a welcome pack and entrance into a draw to win one of three great prizes.
Situated at the East Midlands Conference Centre in Nottingham and running from 10:00 until 16:30 on 2 July 2008, the Scientific Laboratory Show is accessible from anywhere in the UK with its proximity to the M1, A1 and East Midlands Airport.
