The design of the new Ergopet Pipettors allows adjustments for maximum comfort as well as minimal arm strain and fatigue when working inside a hood or on the bench
Ergopet pipettor models are available in a range of sizes and allow users of varying body heights to dramatically lower their hand position and to rest their elbows on the bench.
This position supports the arm and pipettor, especially under the hood sash.
The swiveling head of the Ergopet Pipettor can be positioned straight ahead in-line with the hand or rotated up to 90deg left or right, permitting an unobstructed view of the meniscus and graduations and minimising wrist strain.
A soft silicone chuck accepts glass or plastic pipettes and rotates to change the pipette angle from vertical to 15deg outward.
The hydrophobic filter within the chuck protects the pipettor from inadvertent backflow and can be easily replaced without tools.
A comfortable grip and light weight make all the Ergopet Pipettors feel balanced in the hand, and provide comfortable strain-free operation.
The Ergopet Pipettors are available in four different powered models and 14 sizes to meet the needs of any laboratory setting.
The portable Ergopet battery powered pipettor runs on two rechargeable 1.2V AA NiMH batteries that can be recharged approximately 500 times with the supplied wall charger.
The Ergopet battery powered pipettor provides the freedom of mobility and the convenience of individual push buttons to easily control aspirating and dispensing and dispensing speeds from slow (gravity) to fast (powered).
The state-of-the-art Ergopet Memory Pipettor aspirates and dispenses a precise amount of liquid repeatedly in the memory mode without using the graduations of the pipette.
This unique feature decreases the repetitive use of the fingers during pipetting, greatly reducing muscle fatigue and repetitive stress injuries.
The Ergopet air-powered pipettor uses a 120V AC air pump (included) to provide continuous operation without the need for battery charging.
Individual push buttons easily control aspirating and dispensing from slow to fast.
The Ergopet bellows pipettor operates silently without batteries, cords or tubing, and provides suction for over 100ml of volume.
Individual push buttons easily control aspirating and dispensing and allow control of dispensing speed from slow to fast.
For storage and as a convenient place to set the pipettors while working, the Ergopet pipettor wire support stand fits Ergopet I-III Pipettors and is made from rigid wire with a blue epoxy finish.
This stand holds Ergopet Pipettors in a vertical position and for additional stability a Vikem vinyl coated lead ring can be added to the base of the stand.
There is also a rugged blue ABS Ergopet pipettor weighted base available that stabilizes the Ergopet Memory and battery powered pipettors so they stand upright on a flat surface with ease.
The weighted base can be used with the battery-powered and Memory pipettors only.
