EISC, international provider of scientific application software, has entered one of its scientific software systems in Microsoft's Ingenuity Point ISV software contest
The contest seeks innovative software that utilises a Microsoft based platform to most positively impact people and the planet in either healthcare, clean technology or education.
"EISC's Analytical Review and Reporting Suite (RandR Suite) does just that within the clean technology sector," states vice president and CTO, Paul Banfer.
"By providing necessary tools that automatically integrate and transform scientific lab data into pertinent scientific information, the scientists themselves are better able to access the information they need to support critical decision-making about our world's environment and its inhabitants".
The RandR Suite addresses a key problem in all analytical laboratories; bridging the functionality gap between instrument raw data and information delivery within the lab and across industries.
It's seamless universal connectivity platform assimilates and summarises dynamic analytical instrument data into comprehensive analytical information.
The vendor-neutral software integrates all lab instrumentation and informatics data to a central point for quality assurance, analytical production, report generation, and electronic transfer of the information within and between separate entities, all within minutes.
EISC chose the contest's clean technology vertical, because it encompasses a number of distinct and separate industries such as pharmaceutical, food safety, health and safety, water, waste management, manufacturing, petrochemical, geotechnical, air and radiation, biotechnology, and medical.
EISC says its RandR Suite application is significant, as it acts as the hub that allows diverse laboratories to immediately communicate pertinent and critical information to leading experts and scientists for solutions and discoveries to clean technology problems effecting our world.
"Instrument and informatics integration is the critical need facing analytical laboratories today," states Banfer.
"With EISC's RandR Suite, scientists are able to access all of the data they need in one place to best support their significant decisions that help make our world cleaner and healthier.
"Knowing that our company has the opportunity to provide tools that can assist this world's great scientists and researchers in their work for the world's environment and its inhabitants is what inspires and motivates us everyday to further scientific informatics innovation".
Winners will be announced this spring.
