Just over one month to go to the Scientific Laboratory Show and the expansion of the event continues with new participants and exhibitors confirmed
The inclusion of companies outside the general UK distributor catalogue portfolio marks the show out as a credible occasion and more appealing to a wider international audience, says the organiser.
Exhibitors from around the world attending the show on 2 July 2008 at the EMCC Nottingham now include Microflex and Heathrow Scientific from the USA, Simport from Canada, 5-Prime, Brand, Fritsch and Kern from Germany, Integra BioScience and Kuhner from Switzerland, Plastiques Gosselin and Erlab from France, Advantage from Belgium, plus a host of global brands such as BD, Whatman, Olympus, Mettler, New Brunswick, Thermo Scientific and Hach-Lange.
In addition service providers outside of the general laboratory product portfolio are also attending such as Ukas, the University of Nottingham Business Services Group and Labsure.
For the scientific conference, confirmed speakers include, Glenn Crocker, CEO Nottingham BioCity, Roger Quince, MD of Granta Science Park Cambridge, Fernando Alberericio, director of Barcelona Science Park, Bruce Haxton, Video Link, Salt Lake City, Utah and Alex Rogers, patent attorney, Hesseltine Lake Attorneys.
The show will include the launch of the new Scientific Laboratory Supplies 2008/9 catalogue including new products and brands such as Eppendorf, Biowest, Microflex, BD Falcon, BD Difco, LabConco, Pro Scientific, 2Mag, SLS Branded Documentation Systems and Miele.
With the expectation of 120 exhibitors and in excess of 500 visitors and delegates in one day, the Scientific Laboratory Show says it has become the largest scientific communications event in the UK in 2008.
Situated at the East Midlands Conference Centre in Nottingham and running from 10:00 until 16:30 on July 2 2008, the Scientific Laboratory Show is accessible from anywhere in the UK with its proximity to the M1, A1 and East Midlands Airport.
