Now available from Anachem, the new Vitamin D analysis kit from Recipe provides all the reagents necessary for measurement of 25-OH-vitamin D2/3 in patient samples
With Anachem's liquid handling platform, Flexus, the whole kit protocol can be automated providing fast and efficient processing for more accurate clinical results.
Patient samples are tracked through the process with the Flexus bar code readers.
The Flexus transfers patient samples from their individual tubes and injects them into to a deep well microtitre plate that contains a precipitant and internal standard from the Recipe kit.
The components are mixed together on the Flexus integral plate shaker and the plate is then transferred robotically to the onboard centrifuge.
A second plate is prepared with a second set of samples or as a blank to balance the centrifuge.
The plates are spun for 10 minutes, before Flexus removes the supernatants to a clean plate, ready for analysis by HPLC.
The Flexus automated liquid handler allows you to prepare 192 samples for analysis quickly and reproducibly, giving you time to do other less repetitive and laborious tasks.
Vitamin D analysis using the Recipe kit is well suited to the Flexus as automating this process saves time, reduces error and provides more controlled clinical results faster.
