In the past six months microbiological culture media specialist Lab M has added ten new distributors to its team, across Africa, the Americas, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East
The move reflects the company's continuing development of its overseas business, under the guidance of export sales manager Colin LeGood who joined Lab M last year.
Welcoming the new distributors, LeGood said: "We are delighted to be working with leading distributors, established companies who will continue to open new markets for Lab M products.
"They are of course backed by our UK-based R+D, production, quality control and customer support teams, who deliver the high levels of service essential to the success of our expanding network".
By providing accurate, fast and reliable methods for the detection, isolation and identification of micro-organisms, Lab M aims to enable its customers to meet new and evolving challenges faced by microbiologists worldwide.
When asked how the latest expansion had been achieved, LeGood credited the strong foundations of the company, saying: "By collaborating with industry leaders our R+D group has kept abreast of the evolving market.
"The ability to provide faster, more cost effective media with improved diagnostic power is an attractive option for customers and distributors alike.
"Lab M has all the necessary foundations for rapid expansion.
"Our fully integrated research, development, quality and manufacturing services have the production capacity to handle increased sales, while our customer service team provides the excellent support appreciated by customers and distributors alike".
New distributors include: Labtech (Tunisia), Innovation Diagnostics, (Canada), Bertoni (Austria), Forr Labs (Hungary), PT Pyridam Farma (Indonesia), Medidiag (Sri Lanka), Kemiteks (Turkey), MunroMedbar Kish PJS (Iran), Prime Medical and Scientific Supplies (Jordan), and Global Scientific (United Arab Emirates).
