GE Healthcare has introduced version 7 of the ImageMaster 2D Platinum, a software package for comprehensive visualisation, exploration and analysis of 2D gel data, including 2D Dige
With interactive analysis modes and an improved user interface, version 7 offers significant new features for greater convenience and speed.
The ImageMaster 2D Platinum software uses a patented co-detection algorithm to analyse 2D Dige (2D fluorescence difference gel electrophoresis) results.
The 2D Dige system offers significant cost and time-saving benefits in comparison with classical 2D electrophoresis, and allows the simultaneous separation and comparative analysis of up to three samples on a single 2D gel.
Developed by the Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics in collaboration with GE Healthcare and GeneBio, ImageMaster 2D Platinum is powered by Melanie gel analysis software.
