BioTek Instruments will attend the 13th annual Drug Discovery and Development of Innovative Therapeutics World Congress, 4-7 August 2008 in Boston, USA, with several of its latest technologies
Products featured include the patent-pending Synergy 4 multi-detection microplate reader with hybrid technology; the first in a class of new hybrid microplate readers to combine filter-based and quadruple monochromator-based fluorescence detection technology in one instrument for unlimited flexibility in all current and future microplate-based assays.
Its modular design also includes detection modes for fluorescence intensity, fluorescence polarisation, time-resolved fluorescence, luminescence and UV-visible absorbance measurement techniques.
MicroFlo Select will also be featured as an all-in-one dispensing solution in one compact benchtop unit.
A positive displacement peristaltic pump and a range of cassette sizes and settings provide unlimited flexibility in microplate and microtube style, dispense parameters, and dispense volumes.
BioTek's Precision XS, Microplate Sample Processor with four liquid transfer tools will also be presented during the exhibition.
Additionally BioTek will present its BioStack, featuring automation modules which can be interfaced with BioTek's microplate technologies for increased speed, flexibility and ease of operation.
Components are modular and easily reconfigured when experimental protocols change.
