Dilas broadens the brightness of its Compact Diode Laser System with the addition of a 200W, 200um fibre coupled series.
The Compact series laser system is the latest in a range of Dilas products to be made available in the UK from ES Technology.
The series is based on conduction-cooled laser bars incorporated into fibre coupled multi-bar modules.
Utilising a QBH high-power fibre, the Compact 200/200 delivers 200W of cladding-free optical power and is an ideal source for fibre laser pumping.
For power levels of up to 100W, the Compact series is available with SMA fibre and air cooling.
As a general principle, Dilas can incorporate all available wavelengths into the Compact series, ranging from 640nm to 1940nm.
The turnkey system also includes a metal-armoured fibre, optical imaging unit and laser warning lamps.
The Compact series can be combined with accessories to include laser processing heads, cameras, galvo-scanners, pyrometers or a combination of pyrometer and galvo-scanner.
Used in conjunction with the pyrometer, the system can operate in a closed-loop mode, allowing predefined welding spot temperature ranges for quality sensitive applications in electronic, automotive, solar and medical device manufacturing.
