Oxford Gene Technology (OGT) has granted a microarray license to BF-Biolabs that will allow the company access to OGT's Southern array patents.
The Southern array patents cover the manufacture and marketing of oligonucleotide microarrays.
The granted licence will enable BF-Biolabs to sell arrays and provide services that include the design and production of custom-made microarrays for gene-identification, single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNP) and gene expression analysis.
The licence will remain valid for the patents' lifetime.
