Lloyd Instruments has announced that 2008 marks its 20th anniversary as a nationally recognised UKAS calibration laboratory.
United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) approval enables the laboratory to offer customers verification and calibration of the force measuring system in tension and compression.
Lloyd Instruments Calibration Laboratory is also accredited to ISO 17025-2005.
In addition, AMETEK SAS, sister company of Lloyd Instruments in France, celebrates 10 years of COFRAC accreditation.
Lloyd Instruments's service partners in India (Hemshell Services (Calibration Division of Hemetek Techno Instruments)) and in Thailand (Dynistec Co) are accredited to ISO 17025-2005 for site force calibration of universal materials testing machines.
Testing and calibration laboratories that comply with ISO 17025 also operate in accordance with ISO 9001.
