Whitehouse Scientific's Graham Rideal and Jamie Storey are preparing to spend three days in Saskatchewan adventuring with survival expert Ray Mears, on the set of his new TV series.
The pair won the experience having successfully bid in a Children in Need auction on Terry Wogan's Radio 2 breakfast show for the 'things money can't buy'.
Having seen active service with the Territorial Army, taken part in an Everest Base Camp walk, and successfully completed this year's Mongol car rally, lab manager Jamie Storey is not one to shy away from a challenge and can't wait to get started.
Accompanying him will be managing director Graham Rideal.
While Rideal is perhaps best known for his expertise in calibration matters, he is also an active worker for children's charities in the UK and overseas.
