The granted license will enable Aushon BioSystems to manufacture and sell oligonucleotide microarrays, worldwide, and to perform services based on oligonucleotide arrays
Oxford Gene Technology (OGT) and Aushon BioSystems announce the completion of a licence agreement granting Aushon access to OGT's Southern array patents, the fundamental patents covering the manufacture and marketing of oligonucleotide microarrays.
Sue Sutton, vice president licensing North America at OGT said: "Successful discussions with Aushon have concluded with the granting of this license.
"This will enable them to extend their current offering to provide a range of microarray products to the market".
John Austin, president and co-founder at Aushon BioSystems added: "This agreement will enable Aushon to provide high quality, flexible and affordable oligonucleotide microarray products to our customers in life science research, drug discovery/development, and clinical diagnostics".
