RTS Life Science has announced that it will host a joint workshop with Specs and FluidX at the Marriott Boston Cambridge on 12 December 2008.
Entitled 'Trends in Compound Management' the workshop is suitable for professionals interested in developing or establishing a compound collection and compound management facility.
The workshop coincides with a growth in sales in the Boston area, where RTS Life Science has recently been contracted to provide custom automation solutions to high-profile companies in the area.
The programme for the workshop will include a visit to the prestigious Broad Institute to see its approach to automated sample storage including its use of the RTS Smartstore.
The workshop will also feature a series of presentations and practical demonstrations from Millennium, Schering Plough, Specs, FluidX and RTS Life Science.
The presentations will offer considerations for professionals when selecting, implementing and supporting automated storage systems and also discuss issues such as quality control and tube auditing.
