The Information Technology Services Marketing Association (ITSMA) has awarded the Diamond Award in Leveraging Digital Marketing to Agilent for the creation of a virtual metabolomics research lab.
The award was presented at the 15th annual ITSMA Marketing Conference.
Agilent worked with Boston-based ad agency Partners and Simons to create a microsite that would engage metabolomics researchers, lab managers and directors through an ongoing, dynamic and educational virtual laboratory experience.
The microsite places customers in an interactive lab, where they can learn more about the field by navigating a virtual lab that includes information on Agilent's metabolomics products.
The virtual lab is built as a self-guided tour for new visitors while allowing repeat visitors to access and retrieve specific information on an as-needed basis.
It serves as a central repository and information resource for all aspects of metabolomics including instruments, applications, literature, metabolomics community events and customer presentations.
