Supercritical Fluid Technologies has introduced the SFT-2000 Supercritical Fluid Extraction (SFE) System for research chemists and process engineers.
The SFT-2000 offers the flexibility of parallel processing.
Standard configurations allow for two vessels of up to one-litre capacity or a single vessel of two litres.
A custom version of the SFT-2000 can be equipped with a five-litre vessel.
The larger vessels are ideal for extracting low levels of key components and processing large amounts of bulk material in a short time.
The Peltier cooled SFT-20 CO2 Pump can pressurise carbon dioxide at flow rates up to 250 ml/min.
It is self-contained and does not require an external cooling bath.
An integrated pre-heater guarantees consistent temperature of the fluid delivered to the extraction vessel, ensuring efficient and repeatable results.
Vessels use band heaters and internal thermocouples to ensure the highest level of temperature accuracy.
An optional co-solvent pump adds versatility, enabling extraction of moderately polar compounds.
