RTS Life Science will attend Labautomation 2009 where it will exhibit, host a workshop, present two posters and introduce its free sample management automation audit.
RTS will also host a competition for Labautomation visitors to win an Ipod touch.
The automation audit is a simple six-question form found at RTS's website that companies can complete for free to assess the impact of automating their sample library.
RTS's workshop will discuss why companies are seeking to improve their understanding of the quality of stored samples.
The session will address issues that affect sample quality, such as the environment and temperature, as well as demonstrate solutions to these problems.
The workshop will also present a case study illustrating how companies can routinely and accurately audit tubes to calculate sample volumes and identify particulate matter by incorporating vision system technology into their sample store.
Labautomation 2009 will take place at the Palm Springs Convention Center, Palm Springs, CA, on 24-28 January.
