Microfluidics and Horiba will collaborate on research and development projects and further combine marketing efforts, as a result of formalising their long standing partnership.
The companies previously shared seminars and joint customer presentations.
These efforts will now also include shared exhibit booths at trade shows and exhibitions and joint advertising and lead generation.
They will jointly develop new products and enhance existing products for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food, chemical, coatings and lubricant industries.
They will share technical expertise, laboratory facilities, office space and other tangible resources.
Microfluidics produces and distributes proprietary high pressure materials-processing equipment that reduces particle size through de-agglomeration, dispersion and processing of micro-emulsions.
Horiba produces and distributes proprietary particle size measurement and analysis equipment.
The partnership also means all Horiba and Microfluidics laboratories will posses a Microfluidizer processor and a Horiba particle size analyser.
