They are delivered factory sealed and can be used immediately without further pre-treatment.
The single-use columns are filled with 2g, 4g or 10g of activated Florisil and 2g anhydrous sodium sulphate.
The use of inert materials such as glass, fibre glass and PTFE excludes interactions with the analytes as well as contamination.
