In its apoptosis and signal transduction reagents product line, we have added several new rabbit polyclonal (PAb) antibodies.
All of them are suitable for use in western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC).
The specification sheets for these products include WB or Immunoblot (Ib) images.
K01310R is specific for the ASK-1 protein at amino acids 81-85 while K01311R detects ASK1 only when phosphorylated at serine 83.
K01315 is an antibody to human Bcl-2 associated death promoter (BAD) phosphorylated at serine 112.
This PAb detects BAD only when it is phosphorylated at serine 112.
K01309R detects human protein kinase B beta (PKB-b) (AKT2) only when phosphorylated at serine 474.
The following apoptosis and signal transduction reagents, in addition to being suitable in WB and IHC, will also cross-react with human, mouse and rat.
K01314R detects total BAD protein (amino acids 110-114).
K01304R detects total Akt protein (amino acids 306-310).
K01306R detects total Akt protein (amino acids 471-475).
K01307R detects human epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) when it is phosphorylated at serine 1070.
K01305R is an antibody to human protein kinase B (PKB) (AKT) phosphorylated at threonine 308.
It detects Akt only when phosphorylated at threonine 308.
K01308R is an antibody to human protein kinase B beta (PKB-b) (AKT2).
This PAb detects total Akt2 protein (amino acids 472-476).
K01309R detects AKT2 only when phosphorylated at serine 474.
Meridian has also added two new monoclonal antibodies (MAb) to its cancer research product line.
Both are suitable for use in Ib and IHC.
M01252M recognises human MALT1 (mucosa associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma translocation gene1) and the API2-MALT1 fusion product.
M01253M recognises native and recombinant human and mouse glypican-1.
This MAb may also be used in Elisa.
In its cytokines and growth factors product line, the company has added K01316R.
This is a rabbit PAb that detects EGFR protein (amino acids 1068-1072).
It has also added K01317R, another PAb that detects EGFR only when phosphorylated at serine 1070.
Both may be used in WB and IHC and both will react with human, mouse and rat.
E01253M is a new MAb in Meridian's hormone and steroid product line.
This antibody recognises human calcitonin and procalcitonin.
It is suitable for Elisa and WB.
In the infectious diseases and toxins line, the company has added two MAbs that are specific for the nonstructural protein of foot and mouth disease virus (C01452M and C01450M) and two MAbs that recognise foot and mouth disease virus serotype 01 (C01449M and C01448M).
It has added two new clones - C01442M and C01443M - that recognise influenza A nonstructural protein (NS1).
C01454M is a MAb to methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA).
Meridian has added three clones to Salmonella virchow: C01445M, C01446M and C01147M.
The last two are specific for Salmonella virchow LPS.
Finally, C01451M is a MAb to Staphylococcus epidermidis.
Meridian has also introduced two new proteins to the infectious diseases and toxins line.
R01295 is a recombinant Trichomonas vaginalis p65 adhesive protein and R01296 is a recombinant Neisseria gonorrhoeae outer membrane protein, porin.
In the platelets and haemostasis line, the company has added two new MAbs to Haemoglobin A1c, H01264M and H01265M.
Specific to human, both are suitable for testing in Elisa.
Adiponectin antibodies are listed in Meridian's proteins and bioactive peptides product line.
Its two new MAbs, H01262M and H01263M, are specific for human and may be used as a pair in Elisa.
