Aviso has announced that it has entered into a distribution agreement with the Automation Partnership (TAP).
Under the terms of the agreement, TAP will market and support Cellcelector, Aviso's automated stem cell picker, within the US and Canada.
The Cellcelector allows automated selection and harvesting of a variety of stem cell types.
The system offers researchers an essential automation tool for the fast-growing stem cell market and is already in use at MIT in Boston, Massachusetts.
Using Cellcelector's non-invasive technology to automate stem cell picking reduces the time and costs associated with this largely manual process and standardises cell quality.
An additional benefit of using Cellcelector is that cell selection and harvesting are fully documented by creation of images, before and after picking, allowing users to have an invaluable reference for their research.
