Thames Restek has announced its 2009 programme of one-day seminars, covering all aspects of capillary gas chromatography (GC) and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).
The seminars, in their 19th year, are being held in March and April 2009 at venues in Cardiff, London, Nottingham and Warrington.
The one-day seminars, held between 09:30-16:30, are designed for attendees wanting to understand the basics of chromatography, as well as those seeking to update their knowledge and get the very latest information on new techniques and best practice.
They cover the following subjects in detail: Capillary GC seminars - capillary theory and terminology; inlet systems and injection techniques; detection systems; column selection; column installation operation; troubleshooting and maintenance.
HPLC seminars - introduction to HPLC theory; mode of separation; column selection; method development; troubleshooting and maintenance.
Dates available are: GC seminars: London : 11 March (Ramada, Hyde Park); Cardiff: 17 March (Park Inn); Nottingham: 24 March (Q Hotel, Nottingham Belfry); Warrington: 31 March (Best Western, Fir Grove).
HPLC seminars: London : 12 March (Ramada, Hyde Park); Cardiff: 18 March (Park Inn); Nottingham: 25 March (Q Hotel, Nottingham Belfry); Warrington: 1 April (Best Western, Fir Grove).
The cost per delegate is GBP125 with a 20 per cent discount for four or more people from the same company or organisation.
The cost includes all course material, lunch and refreshments.
