New generation of premium ultramicro and microbalances are equipped with the SQmin function, which actively warns users when the current weight is below the minimum allowable
Sartorius has introduced a new generation of premium ultramicro and microbalances, which use the same operating design and applications support as the award winning Genius series.
The new SE2 and ME5 balances are equipped with the SQmin function, which actively warns users when the current weight is below the minimum allowable sample weight, for simple adherence to the requirements of the United States Pharmacopeia (USP).
Samples outside the limits set are documented on data record printouts.
The balances are also equipped with the new Sure function (show uncertainty - reduce errors).
This function gives users the option of continuously monitoring the uncertainty of measurement and process accuracy.
Naturally the models use unsurpassed weighing technology that lives up to the toughest demands, with astonishingly fast response times.
The motor driven all-glass draft shield, with learning function and operation via two large palm activated buttons is an unbeatable solution when working with microscopically small sample amounts.
The new models come with a comprehensive package of software applications.
In addition to standard laboratory applications, the inclusion of programs for differential weighing with up to 999 samples, calculation by a factor, time controlled functions and a powerful statistics program are especially useful in microweighing.
As well as the models above, Sartorius is also introducing the ME5-F and SE2-F models, designed specifically for filter weighing, in sizes up to 90mm in diameter.
These models have a short, manually operated stainless steel draft shield which not only ensures especially ergonomic work routines, but also reduces the effects of static electricity to a minimum.
