For the first time, a colour graphic display has been installed in a Sartorius weighing terminal.
This large colour display is the main reason why operation of the unit is so simple and intuitive.
The keys and controls on the terminal are clearly organised and are user friendly.
The display is backlit and features 20mm and 35mm high digits to show the weight.
As a result, information in the readout is clearly visible even at greater distances.
This ensures excellent readability, even in dim light.
In addition, a bar graph in the display simplifies filling and checkweighing procedures.
The large keys with positive click action and acoustic confirmation guide you along an optimised pathway for error-free operation with the Combics Pro.
Graphic functional modules are available for programming the Combics Pro.
Since neither extensive knowledge of a programming language nor special syntax skills are necessary, programming is simple and foolproof.
However, the Combics Pro can also be programmed just as transparently in a higher-level language (IEC61131).
Pre-manufactured Sartorius software modules are additional components for a clear structure - with the goal of simplifying work and designing it to be more reliable.
For example, the applications counting, checkweighing, totalising, filling, manual recipe and automatic batching are available.
To support the installation and startup of the Combics Pro, high-performance function packages are available, which clear the way for a smooth start and ensure that operation remains free of interference.
Thanks to modular interface technology featuring digital and analog input and output ports, as well as RS-232C, RS-485, and RS-422 serial interfaces, network connectivity (e.g, via industrial Ethernet), and the possibility of using fieldbus systems (Profibus DP, Interbus, DeviceNet), connection to higher-ranking inventory control systems, such as SAP R/3, is also no problem.
Moreover, the Sartorius Combics Pro features a hygienically designed housing without corners or edges in accordance with EHEDG.
It's made of AISI 304 stainless steel, has an IP 67 protection rating, and includes an alphanumeric keypad with a scratch-resistant overlay that keeps its shape.
As a result, reliable work is guaranteed with the Sartorius Combics Pro, even in environments with high hygienic standards.
