Prior has launched a range of H117 Proscan stages specifically designed for the Nikon MA200 metallurgic microscope.
The motorised stages allow users to smoothly observe large samples automatically, which will assist the process of image capturing.
Prior's H117MA features a travel range of 114 x 75mm to suit metallurgical samples; easy to install - no engineer needed; fitted with IST to store unique stage parameters; interchangeable sample holders for maximum flexibility; maximum load of 10kg The stage features a repeatability of typically better than 1um.
Linear encoders are available to ensure reliable sample positioning throughout long-term time lapse experiments effectively eliminating the effects of thermal drift.
The performance of Prior's stages is ideally suited to the demanding world of episcopic bright and dark field, DIC, simple polarising and episcopic fluorescence contrast methods offered by the MA200.
