Sage-N Research has released the Sorcerer ISIS storage system, which works with the Sorcerer 2 integrated data appliance to provide 10 to 100 terabytes of storage.
To simplify maintenance and warranty for Sage-N Research's clients, it is covered under the same total support programme (TSP) as the Sorcerer 2 system, for up to three years.
The base Sorcerer ISIS system provides approximately 10 terabytes of secure storage in a 2U-height rack-mount system, consisting of twelve one-terabyte disks with two-disk redundancy.
In most countries, the Sorcerer ISIS system consists of the following: Fujitsu Eternus2000 Model 100 with single controller, approximately 10TB usable (12 x 1TB SATA disks in Raid6) and a three-year warranty (subject to the TSP coverage of the Sorcerer 2).
New clients can order the Sorcerer 2 IDA system with the Sorcerer ISIS system, together as two rack-mount units.
Clients with newer Sorcerer 2 integrated data appliances with at least eight CPU cores can simply add the Sorcerer ISIS to their existing system (older Sorcerer systems will require a hardware upgrade).
