Warner Instruments has released the YC-1 Flow Chamber, which uses time-lapse microscopy to monitor yeast-cell growth in the presence of changing media.
The PDMS flow cell of the YC-1 lets the user seamlessly and rapidly change the liquid environment while observing yeast-cell proliferation in a bi-dimensional manner over multiple cell cycles - all without cell washout.
The YC-1 Flow Chamber is suitable for use with inverted microscopes only.
Models are available with resistive heating or Peltier temperature control options.
