14 April 2010 - Perkin Elmer has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Signature Genomic Laboratories, a diagnostic genetic testing company based in Spokane, Washington.
The acquisition is expected to enable Perkin Elmer to strengthen its existing genetic testing service business, expand its position in the early detection of disease, specifically in the molecular diagnostics market, and provide additional strengths in cancer diagnostics. 2 October 2009 - Perkin Elmer has announced an expanded agreement with Boehringer Ingelheim Pharma and Co for Perkin Elmer's Onesource laboratory services. 28 September 2009 - The autumn leg of Perkin Elmer's 2009 European for the Better Tour is now underway.
