AA Robotics's Denso range of six- and four-axis robots can now be integrated with NI Labview to automate processes in the pharmaceutical, medical and healthcare industries.
This makes industrial-application robots suitable for research and development or production environments, without the need for complex robot-programming knowledge.
When used in manufacturing and research, the advantage of using six-axis robots is that they can move products in a controlled path between two points as if moved by human hand.
The Labview library for Denso Robots allows AA Robotics to build specialist measurement, diagnostic, testing and automation equipment from a standard robot range.
The Denso driver is supported by National Instruments.
Neil Billingham of AA Robotics said: 'With the new software library, any user familiar with Labview can integrate a Denso robot into a routine without the need to learn another robot programming language.' Denso produces a range of Class-10 clean-room robots in six-axis and four-axis Scara formats - ideal for use in pharmaceutical, medical and healthcare environments.
