Don Whitley Scientific has designed the Whitley H85 Hypoxystation for hypoxia and anoxia research applications.
Accurate control of oxygen and carbon dioxide allows researchers to replicate in vivo conditions and manipulate cells without altering the incubation environment.
The H85 Hypoxystation monitors and controls the oxygen and carbon dioxide levels without the need for an external gas mixer.
It provides accurate gas control and can also regulate temperature and humidity levels.
A refrigeration unit is optionally available.
The H85 Hypoxystation benefits from a full-colour intuitive touch-screen display for control of all workstation parameters.
Patented remote-controlled motorised glove ports permit bare-hand or gloved working and each port can also act as a small airlock for rapid sample transfer.
An integrated 30-litre airlock allows equipment and bulk samples to be conveniently transferred.
The airlock utilises nitrogen flushing to preserve the workstation environment.
The main incubation chamber is constructed from annealed acrylic and provides a generous working area.
