Mettler will be hosting a one-day technical seminar focusing on aspects of formulations, in Princeton, New Jersey, US.
Aspects discussed will include in-process, real-time particle characterisation in Quality by Design (QbD) studies, from granulation to dissolution.
The seminar will also feature application presentations and case studies sharing industry best practices, including: Steven J Mehrman, Johnson and Johnson - Evaluation of Fluid Bed Process Parameters' Influence on Particle Size and Distribution Using In-Line and At-Line FBRM Data; Zane Arp, principal scientist, GlaxoSmithKline - Optimisation of High-Shear Wet Granulation Processes Using FBRM and PVM In-Situ Particle Characterisation; Gang Xue, PhD, Pfizer - Automatic Powder Dosing in Pharm Development.
The event will also showcase Quantos - an instrument for the laboratory bench top.
Quantos provides an approach to the challenges of repetitive dosing of powder API, samples, and standards in formulations development.
